September 20th, 2012 Wine and Cake Tasting Event
Thank you everyone for coming to our second Wine and Cake Tasting Event! We hope you had a chance to enjoy the wine and delicious cake samples from Amy Kathuria of Me Too Cakes. Thanks to DJ Johnny Stuart for spinning some unbelievable music, to Aliza Dagan for the beautiful flower arrangement, and to Crissy McWeeney for glamorizing us and making us camera ready. A special thanks goes to Steven Halperin for guiding us through the tasting of three wines, one white and two red. Thanks to Sheavonne Harris for sharing valuable industry insights.
We hope that all the event professionals and brides-to-be had a chance to network and enjoy the evening.

3rd Annual Kiva Wine Tasting Event
This year Kiva, a world-wide micro loan organization, hosted their 3rd annual wine tasting event at Bottlerocket Wine & Spirit near Union Square. Tatiana Valerie provided an extensive photo coverage for the event.
Kiva is an organization that connects lenders with entrepreneurs in developing countries. Lenders give loans, as little as $25, which can help entrepreneurs with much needed capital to start (or expand) their business. Kiva New York team is a volunteer group of lenders. Every year, they host multiple events to raise money for their team fund. The third annual wine tasting event was held on February 4th in New York City. While the events are held offline, much of the marketing work happens online – announcing the event, selling tickets, spreading word about the event etc.
